Stockys

Shopify integration

You connect Shopify to Stockys in five guided steps.

The Shopify app connects your store to the Stockys platform: it imports catalog and locations, aligns stock according to the chosen source, and turns fulfilled orders and returns into warehouse documents.

Install on Shopify

01 · The guided connection

The five-step wizard.

01

Sign in or register

Sign in with an existing Stockys account or create a new one, without leaving the Shopify admin.

02

Company

Choose an existing Stockys company or create a new one, with the currency pre-filled from the store.

03

Locations and needs

Stockys reads the active Shopify locations and asks how many warehouses, users and integrations you need.

04

Plan

Choose the plan before completing the connection; the wizard shows the minimum sufficient plan.

05

Import and summary

Import locations, catalog and, if you choose, the initial stock; the wizard closes with a summary of the operation.

You can resume the wizard later, even with a different staff member from the same store. A store can be connected to only one Stockys company, and the location mapping is not duplicated if you uninstall and reinstall the app.

You connect the Shopify catalog without duplicates.

Stockys imports products, variants, SKUs, barcodes, main image, description and categories from the product type, and matches existing Stockys products by handle, SKU or barcode.

  • Connect mode, which keeps the Stockys data
  • Overwrite mode, which applies the Shopify data
  • Matching by handle, SKU or barcode, without duplicates
  • The same Stockys product can stay connected to more than one store

Shopify collections are not imported; categories come from the product type. Price, weight, vendor, tags, product status and images beyond the main one are not imported.

Every location becomes a Stockys warehouse.

Every active Shopify location is mapped to a Stockys warehouse: the mapping keeps the location's name, city, address and phone number.

  • One active Shopify location, one Stockys warehouse
  • Name, city, address and phone number kept
  • The relationship stays valid after reinstalling the app

02 · Stock

Choose which system manages stock.

You can use Stockys as the stock source, or keep Shopify as the source and reconcile when needed. The choice is made during the connection.

Stockys as the source

Movements recorded in Stockys on connected warehouses update Shopify with the absolute quantity of the matching location.

Shopify as the source

Alignment to Stockys happens at initial import and at reconciliation, not continuously.

With Shopify as the stock source, alignment from Shopify to Stockys happens at initial import and at reconciliation, not continuously.

You reconcile stock whenever you need to.

Reconciliation compares quantities between Shopify and Stockys, shows the differences and allows a guided correction.

  • Comparison between Shopify and Stockys quantities
  • Differences shown
  • Guided correction
  • Average cost propagation to the Shopify inventory item, if enabled

Turn fulfilled orders into warehouse documents.

When Stockys is the stock source, a fulfilled order creates a stock decrease with lines, quantities and unit price net of tax; a return with restock creates the matching stock increase.

  • Automatic stock decrease for every fulfilled order
  • Automatic stock increase for returns with restock
  • Documents kept separate from manual work, in the Documents from integrations section
  • Movements classified as sale or return

The app does not manage orders that have not been fulfilled yet, and it does not perform reservations or allocations of stock. Stock decreases generated by fulfilled orders do not follow the picking flow, because fulfillment has already been confirmed.

Publish transfers to Shopify.

Transfers closed in Stockys can become native Shopify Inventory Transfers and Inventory Shipments: origin, destination, lines and the planned, shipped and received states stay readable in the Shopify admin.

  • Closed transfers published as Inventory Transfer or Inventory Shipment
  • Origin and destination readable in the Shopify admin
  • Planned, shipped and received states readable in the Shopify admin

Publishing supplier receipts or shipments as transfers without an origin or destination is experimental and disabled by default.
